Lajawab means "beyond compare." We're a small, senior team of designers and project managers who design and deliver homes across Bangalore — 2BHKs in Electronic City, 3BHKs in Sarjapur, villas in Devanahalli, penthouses in Hebbal. One designer per project, a bill of quantities locked before you pay, a handover date we back with a rent-commitment clause.
Why we started
Bangalore deserved an interior practice that acts like a practice.
We started Lajawab after watching too many friends — smart, careful IT professionals who'd just bought their first home — get put through the same churn: a designer who quoted, a "design partner" who actually executed, budgets that drifted by 20–30%, timelines that slipped by months.
The problem wasn't intent. It was the model. Large chains treat design as a funnel; once a quote is signed, the relationship is handed over. We do it the old way: the senior designer who sits with you on day zero is the same person who walks you through your kitchen on day sixty.
That's it. That's the whole pitch. Everything else — locked BOQs, rent commitments, material rooms, weekly photos — is the machinery that keeps that one promise honest.

Everything is on paper.
Your BOQ lists every line item with quantity, material, finish, vendor and SKU. Any scope change needs your signature — we don't add ₹40,000 of "extra ply" without you approving it.
We built our own material room.
You touch HDHMR, ply, acrylic, PU, veneer and quartz before you pay. Your BOQ references the exact sample you approved. No bait-and-switch at site.
Milestone payments, not lump sums.
10% at BOQ sign. 40% at factory confirmation. 40% at installation start. 10% at handover. You're never more than one milestone exposed.
Photos every week.
From site measurement through handover, you get a WhatsApp update every Friday with dated photos and % completion. NRI clients run their whole project on it.

A designed space you can walk through and a bill of quantities itemised to the last hinge. Locked before any advance.

Material walkthrough
In-person at our material room. Every board, shutter, hardware piece and counter shown and signed off.
Day 10–17
- 04
Execution with weekly photo updates
Factory production, on-site installation, civil coordination. Your designer sends a Monday walk-through video every week.
Day 18–handover

Handover + 10-year warranty
Snag-list walkthrough, keys handed back, 10-year warranty on modular work. Post-handover revisit at 6 months standard.

Factory-built. Site-assembled.
Every wardrobe, kitchen carcass, and fixed storage unit on a Lajawab project is manufactured in our production facility before it arrives at your site. What happens at your home is assembly, not carpentry — which is why our finishes stay consistent and our timelines hold. You get less dust, less noise, and a handover date that doesn't slip.

We don't sell material categories. We show you the exact SKU, the exact finish, the exact hardware — in our Bangalore material room.
HDHMR core
Water-resistant, dimensionally stable — our default core for modular.
PU lacquer finish
Glass-like, UV-resistant — for kitchen and wardrobe shutters.
Acrylic shutters
Mirror-gloss, fingerprint-resistant — bright Indian kitchens' favourite.
Natural veneer
Teak, walnut, fumed oak — book-matched joinery that ages well.
Quartz counter
Non-porous, scratch-resistant — the upgrade over granite that lasts.
